Build your first app

  1. Open app.maypop.ai and sign in. The new-tab page opens with a prompt: What do you want to build?
  2. Describe the app. Who is it for and what should it do? For example: “A shared shopping list for our flat. Anyone can add items, tick them off, and see who added what.” Attach a sketch, a photo or a file with + if it helps.
  3. Watch it build. Studio opens. The agent names the app, writes it, and tests it at desktop and phone sizes. If it needs a decision, it asks.
  4. Try it in the preview and keep talking to change it: “Group items by aisle”, “Make it feel like a paper notebook”. Use Select element to point at the part you mean. Every finished change is an iteration you can revert.
  5. Press Done. While only you can open the app, every finished change is published for you as you go. Once anyone else can open it, publishing waits for Done, so nobody using it is surprised mid-change.
  6. Share it. Press Share, add people by email or username, or pick who can open the link. See Share an app.

Your housemates open the link, sign in, and use the same list — the data is shared and updates live.
